Champagne Days at Matiz Restaurant
This October, Matiz Lisboa invites its guests to discover Champagne Days, a celebration of haute cuisine and the elegance of champagne. From October 6th to 31st, enjoy an exclusive tasting menu created by Executive Chef Daniel Schlaipfer, carefully paired with a selection of champagnes and prestigious Portuguese wines.
To mark this special occasion, the bar team has developed three distinct champagne-based cocktails, inspired by the essence of Lisbon: Étoile de Lisboa, Fado Royale, and Tejo en Bulle. Creations that lend a contemporary touch to the timeless pleasure of champagne.
The tasting menu proposes a harmonious journey through land and sea:
Amuse-bouche: Foie gras mi-cuit with fresh grapes and Moscatel de Setúbal jelly Paired with Pommery Brut Apanage Champagne
Appetizer: Scallop tartare with black truffle emulsion Paired with Filipa Pato 3B Blanc de Blanc Espumante
Velvety pumpkin cream with Algarve scarlet shrimp Paired with Soalheiro Allo Vinho Verde
Taste of the Sea: Sautéed sea bass with chanterelle mushrooms, white Port wine emulsion, and sea urchin Paired with Vinha no Vale Encruzado White Wine
Taste of the Land: Loin of lamb gratin with a chestnut crust, artichokes, and red wine jus Paired with Castro Red Wine
Dessert: Chocolate and hazelnut parfait with pear sorbet Paired with Porto Rozés 10 Years Old
